A family tradition

Taherally Rehmanji Suterwalla founded the company in 1959 and the TRS businesses are still managed today by his five sons.  The original business objectives and philosophy remain – to source and distribute the finest food products from around the world.

TRS is committed to the use of state of the art warehouse and distribution technology which ensures our goods reach customers in peak condition. The TRS brand is market leading in the UK independent sector and has a growing presence in several major UK multiples. The brand is also available throughout the European Union, Russia, Canada and the USA.
 
Wholesale and Cash and Carry
The Cash & Carry outlets are located at Southall and Leyton. Both carry major branded mainstream lines as well as one of the largest ranges of ethnic foods in the UK.
 
In total, more than 900 wholesale lines are offered in retail and bulk packs designed for maximum shelf standout and customer appeal.

In addition, TRS holds exclusive UK/European distribution wholesale arrangements with many leading ethnic brands for canned foods, pickles, spice mixes and ingredients. These are also stocked and sold through our cash and carry outlets.
